Lip butters

Peptides

Palmitoyl Tripeptide-1. Peptides are short chains of amino acids; this one is used in lip care to help lips feel smoother and more conditioned with regular use.

Shea Butter

The reason the lip products feel cushiony rather than waxy. It's rich, it sits on the lip, and it doesn't need reapplying every twenty minutes.

Vitamin E

Tocopherol. An antioxidant that also keeps the oils in a formula from going off. Boring, useful, in almost all of it.

White Truffle

Tuber Magnatum extract. Used in skincare for its antioxidants and for the softer, more hydrated feel it leaves behind. Also the reason the mist is called what it's called.

Niacinamide

Vitamin B3. One of the most-studied skincare ingredients there is: supports the skin barrier and helps skin hold on to moisture, and plays well with almost everything.

Hyaluronic Acid

Sodium hyaluronate in a few molecular weights. Draws water into the skin so it feels soft, bouncy and less tight. The mask has four forms of it.

Avocado Oil

Persea Gratissima oil. A rich oil that leaves skin soft once it's absorbed, without the greasy film you'd expect from the word oil.

Ceramide AP

Ceramides are lipids your skin already makes. Adding them back helps lips hold onto moisture through the night instead of losing it by 3am.

Tea Leaf Extracts

Camellia Sinensis, the same plant as green and black tea, in two extracts. Antioxidant-rich and calming on skin that's had a long day.

One thing we don't claim

“Clean” doesn't mean anything.

There's no agreed definition of clean beauty, so we don't use the word. What we can tell you is what's in each product, why it's there, and that all of it is vegan and never tested on animals. That's the honest version.
